The Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development
provides claimants and employers with opportunities for independent
review of benefit and tax determinations through appeal
hearings conducted by hearing officers.
Appeal hearings are show and tell proceedings where interested
parties have a chance to explain what happened and support their
testimonies with documents or other evidence.
Per 23.20.110(R) Appeal hearing decisions are public information and are posted on the Internet.
